Mary Francis turned 15 months old today. I think we can officially say she is no longer a baby...the girl is a TODDLER. She is walking (running!) everywhere and talking up a storm. Here are some of her latest stats and accomplishments to document 15 months.
She has 12 teeth! 6 on top and 6 on the bottom.
Words (I tried to write down as many as I can remember - it has been a word explosion lately!):
- Hi
- Bye bye
- Sock
- Shoe
- Bath
- Cookie
- Eye
- Teeth
- Ball
- Block
- Book
- Baby
- Mama or mommy
- Dada or daddy
- Max
- Uh-oh
- No
- Yes
- Dog
- Cat
- Fish
- Up
- Down
- This
- All done
- Tree
- Yucky
- Poop
- Thank you
She can point to her:
- Eye
- Nose
- Ear
- Teeth
- Head
- Tummy
Loves to:
- Give hugs and kisses (she is a real snuggler, which we love!)
- Blow kisses when we say "I love you!"
- Wave bye bye
Answers when asked "What does the ______ say?":
- Dog - "wffff"
- Cat -"mow"
- Cow - "moo"
- Horse - "nay"
- Sheep - "bah"
- Goat - "mah"
- Pig - grunting noise
- Duck - "cack"
- Rooster -"doodle doo"
- Bird - "teet teet"
Funny things:
- Sniffs her socks and shoes when we take them off (pretty sure Daddy taught her that one!)
- Has developed quite a sassy streak. Apparently, one day recently at daycare, she got mad, crossed her arms and stormed off in a huff. Where did she learn that?? She has also entered the tantrum phase, but thankfully they are still pretty short-lived.
- Likes to say "Bye!" and close the door or gate.
- She like to hold as many toys as possible at one time. I like to call her our "tiny hoarder" :)
- She is pretty good about listening and following instructions. Well...most of the time.
Here are some 15 months old pictures:
Loves her babies
Showing me her tummy
So Big!
Jumping on her chair. (She is not supposed to be doing this, and obviously knows she is being naughty because she is laughing hysterically.)
Again, with the naughtiness...Trying to climb onto her dresser
And, the grand finale. . . Found her in Taylor's crate while I was on the phone with my mom and dad. She again thinks this is hilarious.
It is hard to believe what a big girl she is these days! This is an exhausting age, but so much fun. We are constantly entertained!
