Christmas

What a magical Christmas! We had two VERY excited little girls in this house.

On Christmas Eve, we made cookies for Santa. My little elves were good helpers!

Charlotte didn't love this hat

We went to church on Christmas Eve

Our best attempt at a family photo

After church we came home and had a yummy Christmas Eve dinner of appetizers

And then Santa came!

The next morning was awesome!

Anderson got a new tricycle, bike helmet, dinosaur and Doc McStuffins puppy vet set.

MFG got a new American Girl (Grace), and a car and tent for her American Girls.

Grace and Baby Lucy riding in the car

Francie and I made these bags for her American Girls with her new sewing machine from Grandma and Pa

We had a quiet Christmas afternoon

We are so very blessed and thankful!

The Nutcracker Ballet

Francie and I went to see The Nutcracker by the Boston Ballet company a few weeks ago. It was her first time and she loved it! It was so nice to have a special day with my big girl.

Ready for the show

I let her choose a special souvenir and she picked out this very sparkly tiara

A special nutcracker cookie

We had great seats and she loved the ballet

Doing a "ballet pose"

The Boston Opera House is beautiful and had wonderful Christmas decorations

We took a quick ride on the T for fun

What a fun day!

Nov - Dec 2016

I have been so bad about keeping up with the blog! Life has been busy!

Here are some pictures from November and December.

MFG made this pancake turkey masterpiece on Thanksgiving

We had a quiet Thanksgiving with some friends

The girls and Charlotte played Twister

We went to cut down our Christmas tree this year at the Beverly Tree Farm

 The tree is up!

We made gingerbread houses

And decorated the tree (note that there are no ornament on the bottom 2 feet of the tree due to 1 puppy, 1 cat and 1 toddler - ha!)

The stocking were hung by the chimney with care....

School pictures finally came back!

We went to have breakfast with Santa - Francie loved talking to him but Anderson was terrified

She liked the crafts and donuts though!

Tommy did a great job decorating outside

Anderson LOVED her christmas nightgown and wanted to wear it every night

Her new favorite hairdo is "2 ponytails!"

France's class had a pajama day

I made gingerbread men (and women) for a cookie swap

We had our first big snow and the girls had so much fun!

Charlotte liked it too!

We went to a lot of Christmas parties with neighbors and friends - It has been a busy holiday season!
