Research Study and Claydate

Mary Francis and I have had a busy day today! This morning we went to the Brazelton Institute at Children's Hospital, where MFG participated in a research study on infant reactivity. It was actually really fun, they just showed her different mobiles and played music and watched how she reacted. We also played together and they videotaped us and monitored both of our heart rates. They also collected some saliva samples from Mary Francis which she thought was hilarious. At the end of the study, she got the items below. She also made $50 - she is earning her keep!

Next, we went to our friend Jacqui's house because she was hosting a "Claydate." She invited all the moms and babies over for a combo playdate and craft day. She had a woman that does adorable hand and foot print tiles and we were all able to place orders and do the imprints. I ordered 3 - one for myself and one for each grandmother. I ordered some like each of the ones below except they all have birds on them (of course - it is our theme!)

Here are Francie Pants and I doing the impressions of her feet
And finally, here is out sweet girl, tuckered out from all of the activities and napping in her swing.
