We have had such a fun day. After Mary Francis played in the exersaucer this morning and Tommy got home from swim practice (he is training for a 10 mile swim in Vermont in July), we all went to the mall to get a new umbrella for our back deck and some new sunhats for Francie Pants. We got a perfect red umbrella that looks great with our red adirondack chairs. I'll post some updated yard pics tomorrow. We also got Mary Francis some really cute hats at Gymboree. We plan on spending lots of time outside this summer, so these were a must!
Then, we went to a cookout at my friend Megan's house. She is one of my "mom" friends from the playgroup that we used to go to during my maternity leave. She and her husband are great and we had an awesome time on their deck with a fantastic ocean view!
Mary Francis got to hang out with her buddy, Jonathan, who is 3 days younger than she is, but outweighs her by 3lbs!

After that, we came back to our neighborhood, where some of our neighbors were having a progressive dinner. We went to Abby and Kevin's house (our backdoor neighbors) who were hosting one of the stops. We just met them recently and they are really nice, and have an 18 month old daughter, Lila. We got to meet several other young couples from the neighborhood who have children - all girls!
All in all, a great day!
