Today's Events

This morning, Mary Francis and I went to another Mom and Baby movie. We saw The Last Song - I can't stand Miley Cyrus, but the movie actually wasn't that bad. Very sad, but I enjoyed it.

Then we came home and I made my mom's chicken, artichoke and rice salad for our playdate tomorrow. Mary Francis sat in the Bumbo on the island and helped :)

Then, FINALLY, I took the Christmas lights down from the bushes in front of our house. Don't judge - people in Swampscott leave their Christmas decorations up for an unreal amount of time. I'm talking until late February or early March. Not that I am okay with it, but that's how people roll around here. And apparently we got sucked into it this year. Yes, I realize we are even more behind on taking ours down. I am aware that we are halfway through April. The trees are blooming and I saw this today, which is what made me go outside immediately and take the lights down.

Yes, that is the Ice Cream Man. That should not coincide with Christmas lights. So they are down now.
