Mary Francis has had a cold for about week. For the first few days, it was just a stuffy nose and a little cough, but she was otherwise her normal, happy self. She hasn't been sleeping very well, which has made for some very exhausted parents, but she doesn't seem that bothered by it. But on Monday night, she was really cranky and had a very goopy eye, so I stayed home from work yesterday and took her to the pediatrician. Turns out she is fine, no ear infection - which is what they wanted to see her for - and the goopy eye is better. She weighed 12 lbs 4 oz yesterday! She is getting chubbier and cuter every day. She still didn't sleep well last night (even with the humidifier and the incline to sleep) but she is all smiles this morning.
