15 Month Stats and Recent Pics

Sorry it's been awhile, we've been BUSY around the Gainer household. Tommy and I have both been traveling a lot for work and it's been a juggling act lately.

MFG had her 15 month check-up yesterday and her pediatrician gave her a great report. He said she is "better than perfect." (Insert beaming, proud parents here) :)

Here are her stats:

Weight: 23 lbs 3 oz (54th %ile)
Height: 30.5 in (48th %ile)
Head Circumference: 47cm (79th %ile)

She has started saying more 2-syllable words, like "apple" and "pretty." It is amazing how fast she is changing!

She has also gone from walking to running. She is always running around the house, smiling and giggling. Too cute.

Our biggest news this week was the arrival of a new cousin! Sweet Elizabeth Adele Peterson was born on Tuesday, May 3rd. She is so sweet and we can't wait to meet her. Check out my sister's blog on the right for more pics!

Here are some other pics of what's been going on with us lately.

This picture is from my former boss, Bev's going away party. Bev was a wonderful mentor and I loved working with her. But, the great thing that happened as a result of her leaving was that I got a big promotion. I am now the Director of Clinical Services and Innovation for North Shore Physicians Group. I've gone back to working 5 days a week, and it has been really busy since she left, but I really like this job and the people I work with.

I was in San Diego last week for a conference. Here are some photos from the trip.

Seal Beach in La Jolla

 Gorgeous Sunset in La Jolla

The historic Hotel Del Coronado

Francie Pants had her first popsicle this week and LOVED it!

 I told you.....RUNNING!

She loves this ball that her Grandma and Pa got for her. As soon as we walk in the house, she says "Ball? Ball?" and starts looking for it.

The yard is almost finished! Tommy has finished planting everything in the back yard and he installed a drip irrigation system (He is so handy!). We still have a few things to plant in the front yard and then the project will be complete!

Our "Elizabeth" magnolia has started to bloom! Perfect timing :)

That's all for now. Hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!
