She works hard for the money...and other updates

I've been putting Mary Francis to work. I mean, she's been here for almost 6 months....it's about time for her to earn her keep! Just kidding, of course. However, I did take MFG to work with me today to help teach about pediatric vital signs and measurement. She was such a good girl and totally put on a show of adorable-ness. Could I ask for a better baby? Not in a million years!

I am loving my new job! Do you know how long it takes me to get to work now? 10 minutes, 15 tops! I used to spend anywhere from 2.5 to 3 HOURS a day commuting. I also love what I am doing at my new job. I am teaching again and getting to be creative, which I love. It is a very self-directed position and I love the people I work with. There is a really great organizational culture and ... did I mention how close it is to home? It is awesome and I am so much happier.

I haven't posted in awhile, so here are some recent pics. They are kind of a hodge-podge...

Tommy and some swim buddies training in the ocean last weekend. Mary Francis and I sat on the beach while Tommy swam for about 2 hours. MFG had a nice nap while I got very sunburned. Tommy is training hard for the 10 mile swim in Vermont, which is next weekend (on MFG's 6 month birthday!)
A fuzzy, but cute pic from daycare. The little guy in blue is her buddy Johnny. Look at Mary Francis posing for the picture!
Last weekend, we had a Megan, Ryan and Johnny over for a relaxing afternoon. Mary Francis and Johnny enjoyed some time in the yard and we got some cute pics.
Taylor enjoyed the playdate too!
Look at those big blue eyes!
Buddies
Practicing sitting up
This one is from today - Look what I can do! She can sit like this (sort of tri-pod style) for about 30 or 45 seconds before toppling over.

That's all for now. We have Swim Across America this weekend - so there will be more pictures from that soon!
