Tommy and I just got back from a long 4-day weekend in Bermuda to celebrate his 40th birthday (in two weeks!)
Ready to board for Bermuda!
Crazy kids on the plane
Bermuda! Look at that water!
When we got to our hotel, we headed straight to the infinity pool
Cheers!
Beautiful view from the pool
Our hotel, the Hamilton Princess is right on the harbor in Hamilton (the capital) and has its own marina
Some photos of our hotel
These moon gates are all over Bermuda. I think that they are supposed to be good luck.
Marcus' restaurant overlooking the harbor
We ate at Marcus our first night there. It is owned by celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson.
Andy Warhol paintings at check in.
Gorgeous sunset
Selfie at sunset
Drinks at 1609 before dinner
I think we were trying to get the full moon in these...

Our first babysitter, Cali, sent us this cute pic of the girls Thursday night :)

The next morning, we took a ride down to the beach club
Beach club!
We both went paddle boarding in the lagoon
And chilled in the hammocks
There was a great view at the top of the hill
There was a second beach on the other side of he hill with gorgeous water
And pink sand!
Tommy got some swimming in, of course
Bright and colorful Bermuda houses
The clouds rolled in later in the day. A Dark and Stormy in front of a stormy sky.
After the beach club, we waited for the bus to take us down to the Royal Dockyard.
Tommy waiting for the bus - you can see Gibbs Hill lighthouse on the hill.
The Royal Dockyard is a little touristy, but still interesting!
We went to see the dolphins at Dolphin Quest.
They had a reservation left for the afternoon to swim with the dolphins, so we took it! Here we are waiting to jump in.....
It was SUCH an amazing experience!!
Walking through the dockyard after our dolphin swim
We took the ferry back to Hamilton
We got ready for dinner in Hamilton
After dinner, we explored there Hamilton nightlife. We started at the Hog Penny pub
And ended at a fun outdoor bar with great music
The next day, we went to Horseshoe Bay. It is so beautiful and we had great weather!
More pink sand
The water is SO clear. You can be neck deep and still see the parrot fish swimming at your feet.
Tommy and I walked and explored the adjacent beaches
Horseshoe Bay is the prettiest beach I have ever seen
Dark and Stormy #.........I've lost count
Tommy had one of these beers - not available in the US yet! All of Bermuda is getting ready to host the America's cup in 2017.
After we got back from the beach, we shopped on Front St. in Hamilton.
Tommy bought me some perfume for my birthday :)
We caught the sunset right before dinner at 1609
That is one relaxed, happy couple!
We had a gorgeous view at dinner
Tommy surprised me with cake for my birthday
This morning, we had breakfast with a beautiful view of the marina
And a little more pool time
Tommy swam laps
While I relaxed in my chair, which was IN the pool
This was the view from our room.....
A few last photos in the hotel lobby
The view at the airport
Good bye, Bermuda! We had the BEST time!
