4th of July Weekend

My whole family came up this weekend for the 4th of July and Anderson's baptism and 1st birthday party. More posts to come on the baptism and birthday party....

The weekend was so much fun and all of the cousins loved seeing each other!

Anderson got into the spirit with this silly hat at Target

Matching cousins

The big girls had so much fun decorating all of the floats for the Horribles parade

Anderson was a big help looking cute in her outfit :)

The first night that Anna and Elizabeth were here, the girls had a had time settling down since they were having a big cousin slumber party in MFG's room. But the 2nd night.....all 3 crashed and asleep by 7:15!

The 3rd was a fun day...Swampscott does their fireworks on the 3rd and there is a big block party in my neighborhood. Anderson was excited!

The big girls went to Eiseman's beach that morning with Tommy and Uncle Toddd. After, they came home to relax and wait to Nanny, Papa, Uncle Chase, Aunt Stephanie, Jack and Payton to arrive.

I finally got to meet my newest niece, Payton. What a sweet baby girl!

The next morning, we played for a little bit before the Horribles parade. Anderson was very interested in the "baby"

We did patriotic pedicures later that day

Tommy set up our tent so that the girls could play in it

Anderson was cruising around the chairs and swing set

We went to Stanley so that the kids could run around and burn off some energy

And MFG promptly crashed when we got home and missed our big lobster bake

Tommy made our traditional 4th of July meal - grilled clams, lobster, and corn on the cob. Yum!

All of the dudes eating the grilled clams

Another sweet cousin picture from Sunday

Anderson's baptism was this morning. It was a sweet service and it was so special that my whole family could be here for it. Another post to come later, but here is a great photo of my parents with all  6 grandchildren!

We had Anderson's 1st birthday party after church.....another post to come on that too!

This afternoon we headed down to the Strawberry festival at the monument to catch the parade

Watching the parade

Anderson was so tired after her big day!

What a fun, busy weekend!
