Anderson Louise Gainer was born at 10:52am on Thursday, July 10th. We are so glad that she is finally here!
My blood pressure started to go up last week (just like with Mary Francis) so they decided to deliver me a little bit early (at 38 weeks and 4 days). I was evaluated in the birth place on Wednesday afternoon and they wanted me to come back the next morning for a scheduled c-section.
The big sister the morning of her arrival! She was so excited!
In pre-op. Ready to meet our little girl!
Final selfie as parents of 1
The c-section was great! They used a clear drape, so I was able to see Anderson immediately as she was born! It was amazing.
Under the warmer with Daddy right after she was born. I could see her the entire time just to my left.
Daddy cutting (trimming) the cord
She weighed 7lbs 14 oz and was 18 inches long
Tiny footprints
Daddy holding her for the first time
He brought her over to meet me and put her skin to skin. She stayed that way the entire time they were closing me up. It was wonderful!
Sweet girl in the recovery room under the warmer
Proud Daddy!
Tommy was able to take Anderson out to the waiting room to meet Nanny and Papa

Proud Papa
What a sweet face!
Mary Francis came to meet her later that day. What a sweet big sister :)
