4th of July

The actual 4th of July was mostly a washout due to Hurricane Arthur, but the rain held off until after the Horribles Parade!

This year, MFG wanted to decorate her scooter for the parade. She worked so hard on it!

(yes, i did walk in the parade. It is only a few blocks, but it super humid and hot and it was NOT easy at 37 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I got lots of pity looks from the neighbors!)

It is hard to believe this is our 5th Horribles parade. What a fun tradition! She has changed so much in 5 years. Next year, we will have another Gainer girl in the parade!

The fireworks in Swampscott are usually on July 3rd, but they got bumped this year due to the storm. Boston did theirs on the 3rd, and our were moved to Sunday, July 6th. 

Last night, we got Francie bathed and in her PJs and walked down to the edge of our neighborhood on top of the hill to watch them. It was a great show!
