Martha's Vineyard Babymoon

Tommy and I took a last-minute babymoon trip to Martha's Vineyard this weekend and it was fabulous!

We drove down Friday morning and then took the ferry over to the island from Woods Hole.

A couple of ferry selfies

A gorgeous day for a ferry ride!

Pulling in to the dock on Martha's Vineyard

We stayed in Oak Bluffs, which is an adorable town. It is famous for its "gingerbread cottages"

We stayed at the Pequot Hotel, a cute little B&B a short walk from downtown and the beach

After we checked in, we walked down by the beach to find a place for lunch

We found a fun brewery for lunch

After lunch, we explored the town and did some shopping

The waterfront by the harbor

Of course, we had to get some things at The Black Dog - a Martha's Vineyard institution!

We decided to head down to the beach to relax. It was breezy and a little chilly, but still gorgeous.

After the beach, we headed back to the hotel for the wine and cheese hour and then walked to dinner on the waterfront. Dinner was delicious and we had a early night! We are such party animals these days :)

The next morning, we took our time getting up and then took the bus to Edgartown, about 5 miles away. Last time we came to the Vineyard, we biked there. But I am in no shape to be biking at 33 weeks pregnant!

Edgartown is so cute! We walked around and did some more shopping

Down by the harbor

We sat up on the wharf and enjoyed the nice weather and watch the Chappaquiddick ferry shuttle cars back and forth across the channel

Edgartown selfie. Note that we are both wearing our Black Dog gear - such tourists!

A fun store in Edgartown

More fun shops

We took the bus back to Oak Bluffs for lunch and ice cream before we had to get on the ferry

One last view of the coastline as we boarded the ferry

Back in Woods Hole as we docked - also gorgeous!

We had such a great trip and came back so relaxed. We are forever indebted to Sarah and Henry for watching Mary Francis while we were gone. She had a big time with Grace! They love their sleepovers - She talked about it all week! Sarah was so sweet to send me pictures while we were gone :)

Making pizza for dinner

Movie and popcorn :)

On Saturday morning, they walked down to the Marblehead farmers market

Lemonade and donuts at the farmer's market

In the afternoon, they went to the zoo. Precious BFFs!

The girls were exhausted when we got back and MFG went to bed early, which was a treat!
Thank you, thank you, Sarah and Henry!!!!!!!!!!!
