We had a fun day today. MFG and I went to church this morning while Tommy took a polar bear plunge with some swimming buddies. The ocean water temp right now is a nice, crisp 51 degrees! They jumped in today without wetsuits - I think they are crazy!
This afternoon, we drove into Boston to meet our friends Tiffany and Bartow from New York for lunch. They were staying at the Liberty Hotel, which used to be the Charles St. jail. It is such a cool hotel - see below.
We had delicious brunch at Clink, one of the restaurants in the hotel. I didn't get a picture of Clink, but this is a shot of Alibi, the hotel bar, which used to be the jail's drunk tank. Clink looks very similar.
It was so fun catching up with our friends at brunch and next we took Mary Francis on her first ride on the T. She loved it!

The next stop was the New England Aquarium. We have been wanting to take MFG there for awhile. We knew our little water baby would love it and we were right. She was totally amazed by all of the sea creatures.
What a fun day. We got a membership to the aquarium because we will be going back for sure!
