6 Months Old

This sweet girl is 6 months old! Where has the time gone?

At her 6 month check up she was:

16 lbs 2 oz (50th %ile)

24.5 inches (5th %ile) - she's a shorty!

At 6 months, she is such a sweet, smiley girl. She is very easy to comfort, and very relaxed and happy most of the time - we call her Zen Baby! 

 

But she has a feisty streak too - her latest trick is growling at us, which is hilarious! She babbles constantly and is very strong. She is doing a great job of sitting up and can stand while holding on to something for a little bit. 

She has 2 teeth on the bottom and is still teething, so I think there are more on the way soon.

She started eating food about a week before she turned 6 months and she did a great job!

First food

Mary Francis has enjoyed helping make baby food and feeding her sister. 

 So far she has had: oatmeal, bananas, carrots, peas, sweet potato, butternut squash and Mums rice crackers.
