We just got back from a great trip to Virginia. We were supposed to go down last weekend for Thanksgiving and Tommy's parent's 50th anniversary, but the airline that we booked went out of business! So we decided to come the next weekend, and we had had such a good time with Tommy's family.
MFG watching the "ball machine" at Logan before we left
Ready to board! Only 4 months old and already her 2nd flight
This one is a pro at flying!
I took this cool picture at the Norfolk aitport
Anderson saying Hi to Grandma
The travel pro helping with our bags
We saw Cousin Amanda the night we arrived and she got to meet Anderson
Some snuggles with Pa
The next morning, we slept in (we got in late the night before) and took our time.
Chilling in the kitchen
MFG and Pa eating lunch together
Blowing bubbles in the front yard
Watching big sister
On the porch swing in the back yard
Enjoying the nice weather and running around in the back yard
Aunt Jenny met us before we went to Edie and Bruce's house
Ready to go to Edie's house that afternoon
Edie and Bruce bought a farm about a year ago and MFG loved seeing it! They have 5 goats (3 of them are pregnant - so soon to be more goats)
Mary Francis got to ride Little Oz, Edie's horse. She was so excited!
Giving Little Oz a kiss
Giddy Up! what a big girl!
Anderson and Aunt Edie
Aunt Jenny, Daddy, and Anderson
My girls
Grandma got a special cookie cake for Mary Francis
Edie and Bruce have a sweet, old cat named Manny. MFG loved him, of course!
Cousin CJ and his girlfriend, Holly with Anderson
Tommy's mom pulled out this picture of Tommy while we were there - love it!
Saturday, we drove to Portsmouth to go see the Winter Wonderland
Jenny, Tommy and Anderson
MFG loved the exhibits!
They also had cookie decorating
And face painting. MFG asked for "an Elsa princess face"
Later that afternoon, we drove out to Jenny and Jim's house in Gloucester. They also have horses, dogs and cats, so MFG was in animal heaven!
We had a great trip and it was so nice to see everyone! We just missed Elaina, who is at Virginia Tech. We are so proud of her!
