Apple Picking

It is officially fall here in New England, so we decided to go apple picking today. It was unseasonably warm, but a gorgeous day!

The leaves have started to turn - they are gorgeous!

Russell Orchards - our favorite farm

Our little apple picker!

Tommy and Francie had a great time picking apples. Anderson was an angel and slept in the stroller the whole time.

Pretty apples

Tasting the goods

Posing with their full bag of apples

It was about a 1/2 mile walk back from the orchard and MFG was tired so Tommy carried her in his shoulders

Once we finished picking, we had a little picnic in the shade and some ice cream to cool off. This tiny pumpkin enjoyed laying on the blanket and taking it all in.

We tried to get a family selfie with this pretty orange tree in the back.....

After our picnic, we went to see the farm animals and MFG checked out the tractor

There were several pumpkin patches, so we attempted a sister pic. Anderson wasn't really feeling it, but it is still a cute photo :)

When we got home, Francie and I made an Apple Crisp - yum! She is such a good baking helper
