We have been enjoying our summer here and leaving the house much more. Here are some iphone pics of what we have been up to lately.
On a rainy Sunday a couple of weeks ago, we went to Clay Dreaming in Beverly to paint some pottery.
Artists hard at work
Tommy made this cute box for Francie - what a sweet Daddy!
A made this little plaque with Anderson's tiny foot prints
We have been having some sister baths lately - so cute!
Francie likes to help rinse her baby sister
Anderson has really woken up in the past few weeks and is such a sweet girl
She loves the mobile in her crib
MFG had a birthday party at Pump It Up and obviously had tons of fun!
Francie and I had a special day for just the 2 of us. I let her choose what she wanted to do and she asked to go to the Rainforest Cafe. We had lunch there and then did some back to school shopping. It was so nice to have time with just my big girl.
MFG is such a great big sister. She picked out this kitty for Anderson when she was born and likes to give it to her to "cuddle" with :)
The weather has been great, so we've been taking some family walks around the neighborhood
This is Tommy's new method for soothing Anderson
Francie got a new haircut. It think she looks so cute with this bob!
A sister tea party
Hanging out in the baby bjorn
On Friday, we decided to try to venture out as a family after Tommy finished work. We took MFG to Salem Willows to ride the rides, which she loved. And we went out to dinner! It was a big accomplishment
On Saturday, Tommy competed in the 1.2 mile Clean Harbor swim in Gloucester and we all went to cheer him on. It was a gorgeous day for the beach
Anderson did great on her first beach trip! She pretty much slept the whole time
Tommy won 2nd place in his age group! We were so proud. MFG is modeling his medal here after the race.
After the race, we went to downtown Gloucester for lunch
Lunch at the Cape Ann Brewing Company
Don't worry - this growler was to-go!
The same day, Francie had another birthday party, which we all went to. It was a cowgirl theme, so of course she wanted to wear her pink cowgirl boots
Last night, we had our friends the Turners over for dinner and Grace and MFG had a picnic in the backyard.
It has been nice to be able to get out more and get back to normal life as a family of 4!
