Tommy has been out of town all week and did not get back until last night, so Francie and I had a Mommy-Daughter fun day yesterday. I heard about a Fairy Festival and Tea Party that was being held at the Wenham Museum (Wenham is a few towns away). I am so glad we went! This was such a cute event for little girls and MFG loved it.
As soon as we got there, she made a beeline for the "fairy hoops" and "rainbow ribbons" on the lawn.
(ps. Love the dude in the fairy costume in the background)
Next we went to the fairy dress up tent where they had all sorts of fairy wings, head pieces, tutus, you name it. MFG picked out these pink sparkly wings and a "ladybug" headband, and ta-da! A tiny fairy was born.
There were all sorts of fairy activities outside on the lawn. Francie liked checking out the fairy tents.
And twirling with the rainbow ribbon, "Just like Dora."
(Anyone seen the new "Fantastic Gymnastics" Dora episode? Right, we have too. Like 47 times)
Next we went inside for the Fairy Tea Party.
This picture is fuzzy, but the look on her face is priceless! She was so excited!
This one is classic.
She was so happy! (And very polite and well-behaved!)
My sweet little fairy
What a fun day - We had the best time!
