Christmas 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas weekend! Warning...this post has a LOT of pictures!

We started by making cookies for Santa after school on Friday. Francie was a big helper!

The finished product!

On Saturday, we went to the annual Christmas Eve brunch at Phillips Beach. It was fun, but COLD! Mary Francis was freezing, so we didn't last too long.

Since we were already bundled up and out of the house, we decided to go to the playground, hoping it would be warmer than the beach.

Time to go...Too cold!

We went to church at 5:00pm on Christmas Eve with our friends, the Kirby's and then hung out at their house for a bit after church.

When we got home, MFG picked out cookies to leave for Santa. We also left eggnog for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.

"This looks more complicated than I thought....Why did we wait until Christmas Eve?"

The next morning, Francie was excited to see that Santa came!

So excited about the little sleigh from Nanny and Papa!

She loves her new doll stroller from Grandma and Pa! Taking it for a spin around the dining room

The Kirby's came over that afternoon for Christmas dinner.

Today, we enjoyed another day off. We took Francie for some "pool time" this morning.

Tonight, we got bundled up and went to the Stone Zoo to go see the "Zoo Lights." It was chilly, but so fun! The lights were awesome and we got to see some of the animals.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
