Mary Francis has "discovered" the pets. She started noticing them a while ago, but now she is really interested in them. She thinks that Max and Taylor are hilarious and likes to feed them Cheerios. They, in turn, are also much more interested in her, since she is a food source. They both hang around the high chair at mealtimes waiting for a stray Puff or a Cheerio to fall on the floor or to sneak a lick of her baby-food covered hands. She also likes to "pet" both of them (more like swat at them and pulls their ears, tails, and fur). Thank goodness Max and Taylor are both so sweet and patient.
Max likes to sit in the chair next to Mary Francis while she eats, while Taylor is camped out on the floor underneath the high chair. I got this picture tonight after she had dinner and it makes me laugh so hard.
Poor Max. All he wanted was a Cheerio.
