Old Yankee Workshop

Tommy got some new powertools for Christmas this year because now that we have space in our house, he has been wanting to set up a workshop in the basement. He also got a table saw from the 1960s from a friend of ours and refurbished it. He has been working on some home improvement projects and he has done a fantastic job! He is quite the carpenter. I have been calling him Norm Abrams for fun :)

He completely renovated the closet in the nursery. It has so much more room for storage now. It looks like a professional custom closet!

This is to put the grandmothers' minds at ease...We had a very rickety staircase down to the basement when we moved in. The old stairs only had a bannister on one side which was not very stable and most of the treads on the stairs were cracked and loose. Tommy completely rebuilt the staircase and new bannisters. Another great job!
Just thought I would throw in another sweet picture of our girl :)
